The brand bemmer is dedicated to creating sculptural objects that are, at the same time, unconventional functional products.

The core of my work lies in the material itself. For my first collection, I drew inspiration from crystalline structures. Crystals form naturally under highly specific conditions, are valued for their rarity, and are defined by intricate geometric formations. Rather than reproducing these forms literally, I translated my research into abstract patterns. Each small pattern is meticulously stitched together, resulting in shapes that carry the essence of crystals without directly imitating them.

The entire collection is crafted from leather offcuts. The softness of the leather gives the objects an amorphous, fluid quality, while the geometric patterns blur and soften — creating a dialogue between structure and irregularity.

Every piece is designed and handcrafted by me, Samuel Bemmer in my atelier in Pforzheim, Germany.
